That’s another thing. I know kids in other states heard about the Columbine shootings, but I don’t think you guys know the sheer amount of terror teachers can radiate once something happens like that only a city away from you. I remember how careful and cautious and scared all the adults were even though all I could understand at the time was that people really close to us died and dying is terrible.

This Aurora Mall Theater shooting is NOTHING compared to the Columbine shooting fiasco because of sheer numbers and the age demographic, though people on the radio have stated they have similar feelings to what they experienced with Columbine simply because of its proximity and how UNEXPECTED it was.

Until they can figure out the motive for this idiot who decided to open fire on people who just wanted to watch a fucking movie I have no idea what to even think about this. There’s just too many factors to consider to suddenly blame something simple and stupid like the status of our society or violence in media or lack of security in theaters ((who fucking suspects someone to find a reason to terrorize a theater omg))
